Okay then, let's get the boring stuff out of the way.
I took from Vision and Originality essentially for the same reason. I see lots of panda magic themes and panda love in deviations (I blame WOW lol) and while I would never try to tell any artists what he or she should make, I do sometimes feel that type is a bit overdone. The shading you have on your characters and environment is strong, but there is a strange contrast between the high light on their faces and low light on their bodies that seem to make the lines too hard and detached. I will double check to make sure it isn't my monitor, though.
HOWEVER, not everything is all grumble grumble WoW, I think in terms of the panda fandom this piece has far more attention to detail and storytelling over some of its contemporaries.
Obviously I don't know what was going on in your mind, but when I'm looking at the two main characters, the panda wizard kind of looks like that grizzled anime teacher that begrudgingly teaches the beautiful new student what goes down in the forest. I am also quite happy that, despite how pretty she is, there isn't that gross over sexualization.
Overall, a memorable work based on popular thematic elements with good shading (except possibly too hard of a contrast between light and dark). I like the story this piece tells and it is inspiring. Good work!
